A delegation from the Market Research and Consumer Protection Center, represented by Lecturer Dr. Khalid Jamal Fadel from the Scientific Affairs Division, visited the Competition Affairs and Anti-Monopoly Council. The visit was part of ongoing efforts to reinforce the university’s role in serving society and to enhance scientific and research collaboration.

The visit aimed to strengthen scientific cooperation between the center and the council through the establishment of joint research partnerships, the implementation of studies supporting the labor market, and the integration of consumer protection efforts with support for national products.

During the visit, the delegation met with Council President, Dr. Engineer Ahmed Younis, and Deputy President, Professor Alaa Abdul Zahra, where discussions centered on the possibility of conducting economic and technical studies through joint committees. Additionally, both parties explored cooperation in organizing seminars and workshops on economic and consumer-related issues.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their gratitude for the warm reception and affirmed the importance of the visit as a constructive step towards activating institutional collaboration in the service of the public interest.

This visit contributes to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
