The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Baghdad has accomplished a remarkable academic achievement by securing a distinguished position in the Simago Institution Ranking for 2025. The college has ranked first in Iraq, third in the Arab world, third in the Middle East, and 61st globally, placing it among the top 10% of veterinary medicine colleges worldwide, out of 886 colleges.
This accomplishment is a testament to the college’s dedicated efforts in enhancing the quality of education, supporting scientific research, and fostering an advanced academic environment.
It is noteworthy that the Simago Ranking employs precise criteria, including the volume of published research, its scientific impact, international collaboration, and innovation performance.
