The College of Education for Women at the University of Baghdad hosted a cultural student festival under the slogan “The Tent of One Iraq.” This cultural event celebrated the unity and rich diversity of Iraq, highlighting the students’ creativity in folklore, arts, and popular heritage.

The festival featured live performances of folk traditions from various Iraqi provinces. Through costumes, chants, traditional dances, and local cuisines, the students authentically showcased the cultural heritage of each region, creating a distinctive festive atmosphere across the university campus.

The President of the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Baha Ibraheem Ansaf, commended the festival’s activities, emphasizing its aim to reinforce national identity and enhance cultural awareness among the students by shedding light on Iraq’s rich and diverse heritage.

The Dean of the College, Dr. Athmar Al-Shatari, expressed pride in fostering cultural diversity through the students, who presented an exemplary model of belonging.

The festival witnessed extensive interaction from attendees, including several cultural and educational figures, who praised the high level of organization and participation.

This activity aligns with one of the Sustainable Development Goals—Goal 17, which advocates for partnerships to achieve objectives.
