A delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research visited the site of the project for establishing the College of Artificial Intelligence and the College of Excellence at the University of Baghdad to review the advanced stages of its implementation.

The delegation included Professor Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi, Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Body, Dr. Abbas Fadel, General Director of Construction and Projects at the Ministry, Professor Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Academic Assistant to the President of the University of Baghdad, and Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul-Amir, Administrative Assistant to the President of the University of Baghdad.

The supervising engineers presented a detailed overview of the complete stages and progress in civil and technical works, affirming that the projects are proceeding according to the approved timelines. The university leadership expressed gratitude for the continuous support from the Ministry of Higher Education, reaffirming its commitment to providing a modern educational environment that aligns with international standards and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

This project is among the flagship initiatives aimed at enhancing the infrastructure of higher education in Iraq and fostering advanced specializations in artificial intelligence and distinguished educational programs.

The activity aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 4, which emphasizes quality education, as well as Goal 17, which advocates for partnerships to achieve shared objectives.
