In a new scientific achievement that adds to the record of the Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, the Al-Khwarizmi Engineering Journal has been officially recognized and indexed by the global Scopus database.
Prof.Dr. Wadoud Taher Mohammed, Dean of the Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering, extended his congratulations to the faculty, researchers, and staff of the college, commending the tremendous efforts made by the journal’s editorial board and academic personnel in advancing scientific research and producing high-quality, impactful studies.
Prof.Dr. Mohammed Abdul Atiyah Al-Sarraj, Editor-in-Chief of the journal, expressed his pride in this accomplishment, considering it a significant step toward international recognition. He affirmed that the journal’s inclusion in the Scopus database reflects the quality of the research it publishes and its adherence to rigorous international academic standards. The indexing of the Al-Khwarizmi Engineering Journal in Scopus represents a strategic step forward in enhancing the standing of Iraqi scientific research. It opens broad horizons for local researchers to engage with the global academic community and contribute to the advancement of engineering knowledge on an international scale.
