The College of Nursing participated in the tenth meeting of liaison members of the University of Baghdad Museum. The college was represented by Dr. Safad Riyadh Issam, The meeting was chaired by Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, alongside Dr. Haidar Hamid Rashid, Director of the Museum, and liaison members from various colleges and centers affiliated with the university.
The meeting addressed several key themes, including the museum’s role in preserving the university’s history and enhancing cultural awareness. The Director of the Museum highlighted notable achievements, and the attendees discussed challenges faced by liaison members.
The meeting resulted in a set of recommendations aimed at strengthening the museum’s role in safeguarding the history of the University of Baghdad, proposing ideas for the development of museum operations, and reviewing activity reports from liaison members.
As a cultural institution, the museum plays a vital role in contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
