The College of Media at the University of Baghdad signed a joint cooperation agreement with Imam Ja’far Al-Sadiq University, Faculty of Arts, Department of Media. The agreement aims to enhance educational programs and facilitate the exchange of scientific expertise between the two institutions, contributing to elevating academic standards and reinforcing their status among renowned educational establishments.
Key aspects of the agreement include collaboration in developing curricula for corresponding media disciplines, sharing books and scientific resources, and organizing training workshops to enhance the skills of faculty members and technical staff. Additionally, the agreement entails joint supervision of graduation projects, the implementation of unified examinations for students, and efforts to improve the quality of education.
On the research front, the institutions committed to conducting joint specialized research, organizing scientific conferences, co-supervising graduate students, and strengthening cooperation in academic publishing and faculty promotions. Such initiatives aim to support the research environment and advance media studies.
This agreement is part of a series of recent academic partnerships established by the College of Media, University of Baghdad, with media departments in private universities and colleges such as Al-Ameen, Al-Farabi, Al-Farahidi, and Dijlah. The goal is to expand scientific collaboration, transfer academic knowledge, and modernize media curricula in line with the latest standards. The college continues its efforts to assert academic leadership by building connections with educational institutions and advancing media education in Iraq.
