A distinguished group of professors from the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, participated in the International Scientific Conference on Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, and Environmental Sustainability, organized by Cihan University-Erbil in collaboration with the University Putra Malaysia.

The participation included several outstanding scientific research papers covering various topics, such as resilient urban environments, rural housing in the marshes, and sustainable conservation strategies, which enhanced the university’s academic presence at this international scientific forum.

The conference featured 56 scientific research papers from various countries, including England, Turkey, Iran, Malaysia, and Iraq, attracting significant interest from researchers. This created opportunities for the exchange of expertise and knowledge in the fields of environmental sustainability and architecture.

This participation aligns with one of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 11—Sustainable Cities and Communities—and Goal 17, which emphasizes partnerships to achieve these objectives.
