The Cisco Networking Academy at the College of Engineering successfully concluded a five-day training course titled “WAN & LAN Networking (Packet Tracer).” The course was delivered by Dr. Ismail Shanan Dasher, Director of the Cisco Academy Unit and faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering.

The training covered several key areas, including a comprehensive introduction to network design, essential networking devices, and their functionalities. Participants also explored data transmission processes across network components, challenges related to networking performance, optimal data transfer speeds, and the rapid historical evolution of network systems.

This course aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting technical knowledge and professional development in the field of networking.
