The Supporting Committee for Voluntary Work at the College of Pharmacy / University of Baghdad, in cooperation with Al Ain Foundation for Social Welfare, organized a charity bazaar whose proceeds go to orphans and the needy.
The bazaar included products and handicrafts for students such as accessories, candles, paintings, embroidery works, crochets, and many other foods, sweets, and other dazzling works that revealed their creative aspects.
In addition, the bazaar included many entertainment activities, including playing musical instruments, taking pictures in a special corner prepared for this purpose, face painting, engraved hands with henna, and other cheerful details.
The bazaar witnessed great success in terms of the number of attendees. The dean’s assistants, heads of branches, and many college professors were keen to attend and encourage students to take this wonderful initiative and participate in the bazaar.
This bazaar achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the first goal, which calls for the eradication of poverty.
