The Department of Public Relations at the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad organized a specialized scientific workshop entitled “Employing Artificial Intelligence in the Design of Advertising, Brochures and Cards”, in which Assistant Professor Dr. Raya Qahtan lectured, in the presence of students of preliminary studies, as part of the department’s endeavor to keep pace with the latest technological developments in the field of media and marketing.

The workshop aimed to review the importance of artificial intelligence in designing visual and marketing content, and the most prominent modern tools and applications that contribute to improving the quality of advertisements and publications, and Dr. Raya provided practical examples of how to use artificial intelligence to create innovative designs quickly and efficiently, saving time and effort for designers and marketers.

The workshop witnessed great interaction from students, who raised questions about the prospects of artificial intelligence in digital media, and the possibility of integrating it into the curriculum to enhance their skills in this advanced field.

At the end of the event, the department’s management confirmed the continuation of organizing such workshops and lectures to support students and provide them with the knowledge and skills that qualify them to keep pace with the modern media labor market.

This workshop achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, which calls for quality education.
