The Dental Unit in the University Health Division at the University of Baghdad announced the re-work after the completion of the development and modernization work that it underwent during the last period. This came during the opening ceremony, which was attended by the Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, and a group of lecturers and doctors at the center.

The development work included the modernization of medical devices and equipment, the restoration of treatment rooms, the improvement of the work environment in line with the latest medical standards, in addition to the adoption of advanced sterilization systems to ensure a safe environment for patients and medical staff.

The head of the dental unit, lecturer Fadla Saadoun, confirmed that these updates come within the university’s plan to develop medical and educational facilities, indicating that the unit is working to provide advanced treatment services to auditors from the university’s affiliates and students.

It is noteworthy that the Dental Unit at the University of Baghdad is one of the important centers that provide specialized treatment services for teaching and administrative staff and students, as well as its prominent role in supporting medical and humanitarian initiatives inside and outside the university.

This activity achieves one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the third goal, which calls for ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages, as it includes responsive programs to improve public health.
