An academic delegation from the University of Baghdad, headed by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, accompanied by several deans of the university, discussed ways to enhance academic and scientific cooperation between the two sides and expand the scope of cooperation to include new fields with several deans of the University of Tehran.
The talks focused on joint research, professor exchanges, and strengthening academic exchange programs between the two universities, which contribute to the development of the educational and research process. The two sides reviewed a number of research projects of common interest, with the aim of developing mechanisms for future cooperation in various disciplines.
The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening academic relations and benefiting from mutual experiences, which contribute to supporting scientific research and developing academic programs by affirming the commitment to activate the signed agreements and expand the horizons of cooperation between the two universities.
This activity achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth goal, which calls for quality education, as well as the seventeenth goal, partnership to achieve the goals.
