The University of Baghdad hosted the TEDx Conference, organized through the efforts of students from Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering and supported by the University Presidency. The event featured a distinguished lineup of inspirational speakers from diverse fields and aimed to promote a culture of creativity and innovation among young people.

The conference covered a wide range of topics, including innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. Speakers shared their personal and professional experiences, highlighting stories of challenge and success. The event witnessed a large turnout of students, academics, and entrepreneurs, who engaged with the speakers’ insightful ideas and motivational experiences.

Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, emphasized that TEDx serves as a global platform for spreading inspiring ideas capable of driving positive change in society. Meanwhile, Prof.Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, noted that hosting such an event reflects the university’s commitment to fostering creativity and empowering young individuals to achieve their ambitions.

This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) by promoting knowledge-sharing and educational excellence.
