Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, President of the University of Baghdad, welcomed the College of Law team that has qualified for the final rounds of the Riyadh International Commercial Arbitration Competition, reaffirming his full support for them in the upcoming competitions.
The university president praised the efforts of the team and the supervising faculty members, Dr. Lubna Abdul-Hussein Issa and Dr. Mona Naeem Jaaz, emphasizing that this achievement reflects the distinguished level attained by the College of Law at the University of Baghdad. He also highlighted the significant role of its graduates in strengthening the legal system in Iraq. Prof.Dr. Ansaf expressed his pride in this accomplishment, considering it a valuable addition to the university’s record of achievements across various fields.
Furthermore, he commended the College of Law for its outstanding role in representing the university at international forums, enhancing its global reputation. He extended his best wishes to the students for success in the final rounds, stressing the importance of supporting young talents to elevate Iraq’s name in international arenas.
This achievement aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 16, which advocates for peace, justice, and strong institutions, and Goal 17, which promotes partnerships to achieve these objectives.
