The General Secretariat of the Central Library received students of the first stage in the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Machinery / College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad, as part of a visit that aimed at introducing them to the library’s services and scientific resources.

The visit included a tour of the various units of the library, where the library staff gave a detailed explanation about the mechanism of searching for sources and references, how to use the electronic catalog to access available books, as well as introducing the services of borrowing and electronic research, and the role of the library in supporting scientific research and academic projects for students and faculty members.

At the end of the visit, the students expressed their benefit from the information provided and stressed the importance of these visits in enhancing their research and academic skills.

This visit achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth and eleventh goals, which call for quality education as well as sustainable cities and communities.
