The General Secretariat of the Central Library received a group of students of the second stage in the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Science at the University of Baghdad as part of a scientific visit.
The students toured the various units of the library, where they were briefed on the sources of information, research, and borrowing mechanisms, in addition to the library’s role in supporting scientific research and providing an appropriate study environment.
This visit comes within the framework of enhancing the information literacy of students and encouraging them to benefit from academic resources that contribute to the development of their research and scientific skills.
This visit achieves one of the sustainable development goals represented by the fourth and eleventh goals, which call for quality education as well as sustainable cities and communities.
