The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, welcomed the President of the University of Duhok, Prof.Dr. Dawood Suleiman Atroshi, along with an academic delegation comprising deans from various scientific and humanities colleges at the University of Duhok. The visit aimed to strengthen academic and scientific collaboration between the two universities.
During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations in scientific research, academic exchange, and the development of joint study programs. They also explored the signing of cooperation agreements covering the exchange of expertise, faculty members, and students.
Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf highlighted previous collaborations between the Urban Planning Center and the University of Duhok on various scientific projects, which served as a foundation for further agreements. These future collaborations will support major university initiatives such as the Science Park, the College of Artificial Intelligence, the College of Excellence, and other academic workshops and information exchange centers.
In turn, the President of the University of Duhok delegation expressed his enthusiasm for this step, praising the University of Baghdad’s leadership in advancing scientific research and higher education. He emphasized the significance of joint cooperation in elevating academic institutions across Iraq.
