Fourth-year students from the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering presented posters on globally sustainable hospitals under the supervision of a group of faculty members.
The posters aimed to raise awareness about the significance of sustainability in hospitals and its global applications, while also highlighting the healthcare and treatment requirements that hospitals must meet.
This initiative sought to underscore the role of sustainable hospitals in fostering a natural healing environment through energy-efficient design, advanced systems, and sustainable technologies. It also emphasized the integration of renewable energy sources, the reduction of harmful emissions and pollution, the safe disposal of medical waste, and the adoption of modern, sustainable construction methods and eco-friendly building materials. These efforts contribute to achieving a pollution-free environment and ensuring the efficient management of natural resources.
