The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled “Provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights” in commemoration of the World Human Rights Day. The workshop was presented by Dr. Haider Ali Abdullah, Head of the Continuing Education Unit.
The workshop aimed to introduce the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and highlight its key provisions, as well as explore the social reasons that led to the necessity of drafting the declaration.
The workshop focused on several key aspects, including a discussion of the articles included in the declaration and the first and second covenants, as well as exploring solutions to ensure the sustainability of human rights across three generations.
At the end of the workshop, a discussion session was held, allowing attendees to ask questions and raise inquiries about the provisions of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
