The Department of Public Relations at the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop entitled “Leadership in Public Relations”, in which Mr. Sinan Bassem Fulih, Director of Political News Programs at Al-Iraqiya News Channel, lectured in the presence of students of the third stage of the department.
The workshop aimed to focus on the importance of leadership roles in developing institutional performance, and the workshop also discussed the different types of leadership and their impact on achieving the goals of institutions, as well as reviewing the qualifications and skills that a successful leader must have, such as the ability to make decisions and build effective work teams.
The workshop also witnessed great interaction from students, who showed a clear interest in the topics presented and participated in their interventions and questions on the application of leadership concepts in the media field.
This workshop comes within the activities organized by the Public Relations Department to enhance the professional side of students and prepare them for the labor market by refining their leadership skills and linking them to the reality of media work.
