The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, and the Dean of the Center for Urban and Regional Planning for Graduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan, received the delegation of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research of the Holy Husseiniya Shrine, to discuss the latest developments in the preparations for the ninth international scientific conference to Ziyarat AL-Arbaee.

The two sides discussed topics related to the conference, which served all scientific and service aspects at the level of Iraq. The President of the University stressed that the conference will have a developmental goal by relying on the capabilities of the state through planning and benefiting from other experiences, and coming up with studies that contribute to planning and construction, after forming a committee to follow up on scientific projects and the stages of their practical completion, especially related to sustainability in scientific research and their embodiment on the ground with the support of the Holy Husseiniya Shrine in conjunction with the opening of a branch of the Karbala Center for Studies and Research in Baghdad.

The Chairman of the Conference Communication Committee, Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Alwan, explained that coordination has been made with most of the formations to present their scientific research and focus on the sustainability aspect of their research and thus the possibility of publishing it in Scopus later.

For his part, the delegation of the threshold stressed the importance of cooperation with the University of Baghdad and benefiting from the strengths between the two sides about scientific and practical applied topics, at all levels geographically, historically, socially, and others, and the nature of the research to be participated in the conference and the mechanisms of publishing the distinguished ones in Scopus containers and others in refereed journals were discussed.

It is noteworthy that the President of the University of Baghdad confirmed that the university has opened the door for scientific cooperation with everyone and in partnership with academics, especially after the entry of a number of its formations within the British Times Ranking.
