The College of Dentistry at the University of Baghdad held a workshop titled “The Role of Enzymes in ELISA Testing,” presented by Prof.Dr. Batool Hassan Hashem, with the attendance of several faculty members.

The event aimed to explore the role of enzymes used in the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) test. It covered several key topics, including the types of enzymes utilized in ELISA, the characteristics and properties of the selected enzymes, and their role in detecting antibodies and antigens.

The workshop concluded with a recommendation emphasizing the diversity of ELISA test types and the wide range of enzymes used in these assays. It highlighted the crucial role of these enzymes in detecting antibodies and antigens, based on their specific mechanisms of action.
