The University of Baghdad team achieved first place among Iraqi universities in the University Festival of Fine Arts for male and female students, held in Najaf Governorate, hosted by the Middle Euphrates Technical University.
The University of Baghdad team participated in a distinguished group of artworks presented by students from the College of Fine Arts in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities, as part of a strong competition that witnessed wide participation from various public and private universities in Iraq.
The Director of the Student Activities Department at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Ali Sadiq Diab, stressed that this achievement reflects the level of creativity and excellence enjoyed by the students at the University of Baghdad, and confirms its leadership in the artistic and cultural field at the level of Iraqi universities.
For its part, the Presidency of the University of Baghdad congratulated the team of the College of Fine Arts and its creative students on this great achievement, which is added to its honorable record of achievements, expressing its constant endeavor to support all students’ artistic and sports activities to achieve the highest levels of leadership among young people.
