The students at the University of Baghdad achieved three different medals in the table tennis championship held at the Islamic University in Najaf, with wide participation from various public and private universities in Iraq.
Rand Rami Peter from the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Rania Jassim Ibrahim from the College of Engineering, and Sana Hussein Jawad from the College of Science won three medals in the individual table tennis championship and second place at the team level among Iraqi universities.
These distinguished achievements came as a result of the great efforts made by the students during the preparation period for the tournament, where they showed exceptional performance and strong competition against a group of distinguished players from various universities, which reflects the level of excellence and skill they enjoy.
The Director of the Department of Student Activities at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Ali Sadiq Diab, stressed that this achievement reflects the spirit of challenge and determination among female students, pointing out that the university will continue to support sports activities and provide the appropriate environment for excellence in various fields.
