The Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Mass Communication at the University of Baghdad organized a scientific workshop entitled “Journalistic Investigation Writing Skills”, in which Prof. Dr. Siham Al-Shujairi lectured, in the presence of college students.
The workshop aimed to introduce journalistic investigation, which is one of the journalistic arts that is based on a specific news, idea, problem, or issue that the journalist picks up from the society in which he lives.
It dealt with the functions of journalistic investigation, types of journalistic investigations, reliable sources that the journalist relies on to conduct the investigation, as well as the steps of preparing the idea of the investigation from choosing the idea until its implementation.
This workshop also gave the attendees deep knowledge about the achievement of journalism and its writing skills, which enhances their capabilities in this important field in the world of media and journalism, as well as achieving the fourth goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on quality education.
