The College of Islamic Sciences, in collaboration with an Algerian researcher from the University of Mohamed Boudiaf, has published a joint research paper in the renowned Algerian scientific journal Paradigmes, titled “Strategic Orientation Toward Building a Model for Smart Organizations.” This initiative aims to strengthen academic cooperation between the two countries.

The research highlights the significance of strategic orientation in creating organizations that are more adaptable and resilient to rapid changes by exploring the crucial role that organizational learning plays in this process.

This study is a valuable addition to the fields of business management and organizational studies, providing fresh insights into building organizations capable of addressing contemporary challenges. It also contributes to enhancing scientific collaboration between Iraq and Algeria, opening new avenues for joint research in this area.

The authors of the study, Lecturer. Baarq Habib Sadiq from the College of Islamic Sciences and Abdel Rahman Boujelil from Mohamed Boudiaf University, Algeria, recommend placing greater emphasis on organizational learning within organizations and encouraging the adoption of strategic approaches that foster smarter and more flexible organizations. They also call for further studies in this field to deepen understanding of the factors influencing the development of smart organizations.
