The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof.Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, accompanied by Prof.Dr. Hussein Qasim, Director of the Graduate Studies Department, along with a ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, inspected the administration of the competitive exams for graduate studies (Higher Diploma, Master’s, and Doctorate) in the Colleges of Engineering, Sciences, Education for Women, and Media for the academic year 2024-2025.
The ministerial committee reviewed the mechanisms for organizing and preparing the examination halls and the necessary supplies provided by the university to accommodate the qualified students taking the competitive exams. They praised the exceptional organization and preparation by the “mother of universities” in providing all logistical arrangements to ensure the smooth and efficient administration of the exams.
It is noted that the number of students eligible to take the exams exceeds fifty-one thousand, competing for twenty-nine thousand seats across all specialties, for both general and private admissions, as well as for those with special privileges.
The results of the competitive exams will be announced on July 14, 2024, on the official websites of the aforementioned colleges. A timeframe will then be provided for objections, the announcement of their results, final acceptance, and the issuance of university orders on August 15, 2024, in preparation for the commencement of studies in September.
