Dr. Wisam Najib Sliwa, a faculty member at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, participated in the Third Scientific Conference for Asian Coaches in 2024 to analyze the 2023 Asian Cup.
This participation came at the invitation of the Asian Football Confederation to Dr. Wisam in his capacity as the Technical Director of the Iraqi Football Federation/Agency, as well as invitations to Mr. Jesús Casas, the coach of our national team, and his assistant Salvador Romero.
Meetings were held with the technical directors of the national federations of Asia and the coaches of the continent’s teams. On the sidelines of these meetings, they discussed their experiences in the Asian Championship.
