The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad hosted the certificate equivalency exam for graduates of medical colleges who have a bachelor’s degree in general medicine from various Arab and foreign universities, in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research – Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Amin Abdul Hassan Mana Al-Alwani.

The number of applicants to take the exam reached (86) examiners in clinical subjects in the specialties of surgery, internal medicine, gynecology, and obstetrics, as well as pediatrics.

It is worth noting that the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad is unique as a medical academic institution as it is the only center in conducting the certificate equivalency exam at the national level, which is at a rate of two exams annually and with 6 exam attempts for medicine for the year, in which the practical exam questions and correction are centrally carried out by the university.
