Within the framework of the openness of scientific institutions, especially universities, to state institutions, the opening ceremony of the five-a-side stadium was held at the College of Education Ibn Rushd at the University of Baghdad, which was rehabilitated at the expense of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in the presence of the Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, and the Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah, representing the President of the University of Baghdad, and they were received by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Allawi Sider Jazea, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hussein Al-Fartousi.
During the ceremony, a series of events took place, including raising the Iraqi flag and playing the national anthem to the tunes of the musical band at the College of Arts, and the launch of the stadium opening match between the college team and the former Iraqi national team pioneers, and in conclusion, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs presented the college’s shield to the Minister of Youth, and the Scientific Assistant, and the Minister of Youth expressed his pleasure and gratitude for this ceremony and the warm reception.
