The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Baghdad held its fifteenth and fourth international scientific conference, with the participation of academic elites from distinguished local, Arab, and foreign universities, which included providing scientific seminars and holding specialized research partnerships in various medical fields.
The conference aimed to shed light on the latest scientific results reached by research centers in the College of Veterinary Medicine laboratories and present joint scientific seminars presented by teachers and researchers in cooperation with reputable research and academic institutions in various world countries.
The conference included the presentation of the results of the recent international classification in the international publishing repositories (SCOPUS), under which the College of Veterinary Medicine ranked first in the classification of Iraqi universities, as well as a discussion of the importance of veterinary medicine and its role in society and the role of scientific research in supporting those important sectors.
The conference witnessed the opening of the exhibition of scientific products for faculty teachers, the exhibition of veterinary medicines and equipment for a number of companies participating in the conference, and the opening of a bazaar held by students that included the display of many handicrafts.
