The President of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Bahaa Ibraheem Ansaf, received in his office in the presidency of the university, a delegation from the Turkish University of Ghazi, and the visiting delegation was headed by the President of the University, Dr. Musa Yildiz, and a number of teachers at the university, in the presence of the Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Suhail Najm Abdullah.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of cooperation between the University of Baghdad and the Turkish University of Ghazi in various scientific and academic fields, and the two parties discussed the possibility of exchanging experiences, professors, and students between the two universities, and opportunities for joint research cooperation between the two universities were discussed.
The President of the University of Baghdad gave a detailed explanation of the university, its colleges, institutes, scientific and research centers, and the role it plays, adding that the university seeks to activate scientific activity between the two universities, especially about the exchange of professors, joint research and language development about students of the Turkish Language Department in the College of Languages.
The visiting delegation expressed its great happiness with its visit to the University of Baghdad and briefed on the advanced educational and academic level enjoyed by the university, stressing the importance of cooperation between Iraqi universities and Turkish universities, which contributes to the advancement of the educational process in the two friendly countries.
