The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad hosted Dr. Hadifa Adam Ali, the consultant physician from of the University of Bristol, UK, as part of its efforts to improve its academic quality and reliability in collaboration with London-Iraq Members and Fellows Network represented by its adviser in Iraq Prof. Dr. Hilal Bahjat al-Saffar.

The visiting professor presented a valuable lecture to the students of medicine entitled “The Legacy of Learning” in which he addressed many fundamental points in the learning of medical students and conducting scientific research and how to choose the path of future specialization and volunteering to serve the community as well as British experience in dealing with the Corona pandemic and conducting research for the purpose of seeking treatment for the disease. An educational session was also provided for sixth-grade students on how to diagnose respiratory diseases with a presentation of radiological and prey examinations, and the visiting professor expressed his admiration for the performance of the college students and their in-depth and interactive discussion of the conditions. At the conclusion of this event, the deanship organized a meeting to discuss prospects of cooperation between the two sides in the fields of scholarship, faculty training and undertaking joint research.
