The Surgery and Obstetrics Branch at the college of veterinary medicine has organized a scientific course on how to use the ultrasound veterinary sonar in the diagnosis of pregnancy and various diseases affecting animals. The course discussed how sonar is used and the methods used in diagnosis, as well as the types of sonar devices, the methods used in diagnosis and its side effects. It is worth mentioning that ultrasound sonar is a imaging based on high frequency sound waves that can take live images of the inside of the animal’s body, a method that enables the veterinarian to diagnose problems of different organs of the body, blood vessels and tissues.
