Seminar on rumors broadcasted through social media and their effects on community security

The Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for Women at the University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Department of Relations and Media, held a dialogue seminar on (Rumors in social media and their effects on community security). The lecturers referred to the volume of rumors spreading on social media sites and the extent of unconscious use of these programs as well as the dissemination of everything promoted by the biased media indirectly, as well as the discussion of the cybersecurity system and how to maintain and secure the base of the environment correctly and accurately and make it impenetrable by hackers. The seminar is part of the interior ministry’s security and media strategy to spread security culture in community in cooperation with the ministry of higher education and scientific research on fake news and how they spread among citizens.
