Assist. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohammed Mahdi, a professor from the department of energy engineering at the University of Baghdad has won the second place in a competition sponsored by the University of Warith Al-Anbiyaa related to Imam Hussain Holy Shrine for research excellence during a major ceremony in the presence of the legitimate official of the Holy Threshold Sheikh Abdul Mahdi al-Karbali and a number of scientific and academic figures.
This event was also sponsored by the ministry of higher education and scientific research and involved innovations of more than 650 researchers from various Iraqi public and private universities within three disciplines (medical, engineering, pure & applied sciences). A differentiation process was conducted to select research according to very precise criteria developed by well-established scientific committees, along with taking into account the number of scientific research published annually and the sobriety of global journals that academic papers published in.
