The Department of Accounting Studies at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies, under the supervision of its dean Prof. Dr. Faihaa Abdullah Yaacoub, held an electronic workshop entitled “The role of accounting information in rationalizing administrative decisions” through Zoom platform. The workshop was attended by The Head of accounting studies, Professor Amer Mohammed Salman, and a number of teaching staff and students.

The workshop dealt with revenues, expenditures, production and resources that eventually culminate in the financial reporting cycle, which is the final product of accounting work. At the end of the workshop, a set of recommendations were made, the most important of which is the role of decision maker in forming rational resolutions based on deriving information from accounting information systems because they have applications in all areas of responsibility in the value chain of the economic unit, and assumes giving the authority of the administrative decision-maker to suit the degree of structure of the decision or the scope of the impact, and it is better to relatively stabilize the company’s strategy because this reflects positively on the determination of the structure or scope of the different administrative decision so that it is easier for management to authorize powers appropriate for the decision-maker.
