The Department of Accounting Studies at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Financial Studies held an electronic scientific symposium under the supervision of the dean, Prof. Dr. Faihaa Abdullah Yaacoub, via Zoom platform entitled “The role of judicial accounting in reducing the practice of creative accounting methods”, in the presence of Dr. Wafaa Hussein Salman, the assistant dean of the institute, and a number of professors and postgraduate students.

They talked about the nature of judicial accounting and its objectives and the representation of its main objective in resolving disputes and testifying by the judicial accountant or judicial expert of His Money from a prominent role in preparing the required financial information and evidence to resolve the dispute or to issue judgments, which in turn limits creative accounting practices. At the end of this event, a set of recommendations were addressed, including the need to emphasize the adoption of international accounting, the need to prepare a judicial accountant or judicial expert, and the support of the Federal Financial Oversight Office for economic units established by the judicial accountant, especially since the Diwan is currently aimed at cooperation with the judiciary and the solving disputes bodies.
