Workshop on human rights at the college of science for women

The Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Science for Women has organized a scientific workshop entitled “Human Rights in Education” delivered by Dr. Nahla Abboud and Prof. Hanan Mohie Al-Din. The workshop aimed to review the concept of human beings and the principles developed and organized by the United Nations for human rights and the rights of future generations, as well as the position of international human rights law and the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for 2005 of these rights represented by the right to a clean environment, sustainable development, ownership of natural resources, the right to enjoy the achievements of technological development and others. The workshop also reached several recommendations, including the human right to education, harmony and integration with international standards on the rights of future Iraqi generations, and the need to educate on the rights of future generations as the building block for enjoying other rights and the right to enjoy the achievements of technological development.
