The Deanship of the College of Education for Pure & Applied Sciences (Ibn al-Haitham), in cooperation with the American Chemical Society, organized the Student Festival of Chemistry with the participation of students of the Chemistry Department of the College and the participation of Dijlah University College, the National University and the Gifted High School in Najaf, the Middle Creativity for Girls and the Baghdad Knights Civil High School.
The festival, which was opened by the dean of the faculty, Prof. Dr. Firas Abdul Hamid Abdul Latif, under the slogan “Chemistry for All”. The festival included the establishment of scientific experiments in the field of chemistry and the magic of chemistry conducted by students of the chemistry department in the college and students of schools and high schools participating in the festival and the establishment of the exhibition of scientific posters made by students of the department of chemistry.
