Assist. Prof. Dr. Haider Mohammed Abdul Hamid, a faculty member at the college of engineering has published the following two research papers in the Caspian Journal of Environmental Science (CJES): (A Coated of Ca/Fe Layered Hydroxide onto a Synthesized Adsorbent from (Banana Peels) for Removal of Cadmium from Simulated Wastewater) and (Removal of Cu (II) from industrial wastewaters through locally-produced adsorbent prepared from orange peel) where one of them is part of a doctoral research made by the student Zainab Abdul Razzaq, as in the link below:

Also Dr. Haidar Mohammed has participated in two conferences whose proceedings have been published in Scopus, where the first paper is entitled (Study Hybrid Treatment Technologies using (MBBR with Electro-Flotation) for Textile Wastewater) and is published in the Journal of Physics: Conference Series. The other research is entitled (Using of Different Electrocoagulation Cell Configuration Parameters for Treating of Abu-Ghraib Dairy Products Wastewater) published in IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, and it was part of master theses submitted by the students Dalia Tahseen Ibrahim & Sarah Muhannad Abdul Hamza, as in the links below:
