A delegation representing the department of remote sensing and geographic information systems at the college of science of the University of Baghdad has exchanged dialogue with its counterpart of the Defense University for Higher Military Studies ways of joint cooperation in the framework of promoting mutual benefit in the field of research and studies that serve the military and security institution based on the slogan “University in the Service of Community”.
The delegation was received by the rector of the Defense University for Higher Military Studies, Lt. Gen. Saad Mizher al-Allaq, who expressed during the meeting their deep gratitude for the hospitality of the reception and welcoming the prospects of joint cooperation and coordination in the interest of both parties, especially in educational fields related to military and security topics. The participants sought to provide strategic ideas and visions in several aspects, as well as to provide the opportunity to benefit from the possibilities of educational formations in strategic expertise to serve our nation and achieving the university’s strategy in supporting the armed forces, including establishing conferences, seminars and lectures between the two parties in the field of national service in addition to the development of security capabilities.
