The dean of the college of science at the University of Baghdad, Dr. Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq has signed an agreement of understanding with the dean of the college of applied sciences at the University of Samarra, Prof. Dr. Ayser Saleh Mohammed, within the framework of the prospects for scientific and academic cooperation (MoC) between the two sides.

The meeting, which was attended by the assistant dean for scientific and student affairs and the head of the department of earth sciences at the University of Baghdad, as well as the assistant dean for scientific affairs and head of the department of chemistry from the University of Samarra, highlighted the joint readiness to implement the provisions of the agreement, including undergraduate studies, supervision on postgraduate students, as well as undertaking many other joint research and educational programs, particularly cooperation in supporting sober scientific research, publishing articles in academic journals so for the common good. Then the dean accompanied the delegation to visit the laboratories of the departments of biology and chemistry and inspect the practical applications used by students of the undergraduate and postgraduate studies. It is noteworthy that the college of science seeks to deepen its network of academic relations with various universities in the country, reflecting the vision of our university in enhancing its presence on the local and international academic scene, which reflects positively on its scientific ranking and research career on a large scale.
