Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering celebrates the International Women’s Day

Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad has celebrated lately the anniversary of the International Women’s Day, in the presence of the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Wadood Taher Mohammed. The celebration included delivering a speech by the dean who talked about the status of women in general and their significant role in our community in particular since women are half of the society and the educators of the other half, shedding light on the continuous giving they provide and their distinguished responsibilities they take at the present in various positions and ranks and the sacrifices they make in hard times besides men. The ceremony included honoring a number of working women in recognition of their efforts at the college with a book of thanks and appreciation to all female members of the college.
