Prof. Dr. Abdul Kareem Abdul Razzaq, dean of the college of science has opened up an art exhibition to show portraits and artistic handicrafts made by the students of the department of physics in the presence of his assistants for scientific and student affairs.
The dean expressed his admiration for the outstanding artistic level of the works presented, which reflect a fine artistic sense, as the exhibition included paintings that embodied the themes of Iraqi landscapes and heritage, holy places, as well as abstract paintings, especially that were painted by students studying pure sciences. On the sidelines of the exhibition, Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Abdul Razzaq opened up the hall of the late Dr. Jassim al-Hassani after being rehabilitated to promote the department of physics by establishing multiple activities, and gave a speech at the opening ceremony in which he stressed the support of the deanship in such undertakings.
