A number of faculty member from the Department of Biochemical Engineering at Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering, including Prof. Dr. Ali Hussein, the lecturer Dr. Ziad Tariq Ahmed and the Assist. Lecturer Osama Fawzi Saeed, have published the scientific research entitled (Application of central composite design approach for optimization of zinc removal aqueous solution using a flow-by fixed bed bioelectrochemical reactor) in the (Separation and Purification Technology) journal issued by Elsevier.
It is worth mentioning that this journal is dedicated to the dissemination of novel methods for separation and purification in the fields of chemical and environmental engineering for homogeneous solutions and heterogeneous mixtures, having an impact factor of 7.312 & Site Score of 9.9 and it is listed in (Q1). The deanship congratulated the scientific efforts conducted by the participating researchers added to the targeted progress of the higher education march in the country.
