The dean of the college of physical education and sports sciences, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qassim, has received the President of the International Association of Universities, Prof. Dr. Orhan Hikmet Azizoğlu and his delegation in the presence of the rector of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi.
The guest delegation toured the faculty of physical education and sports sciences and was briefed on the construction, infrastructure, classrooms, playgrounds and swimming pools in the college, as well as the dean provided a detailed explanation of the college and its origins and students and sports programs, and the joint cooperation between the college, Olympic and sports federations as well as the teams hosted by the college. For his part, Dr. Azizoğlu stressed that his visit came in order to start working with Baghdad University in activating the exchange of experiences and skills development, supporting student projects and providing free grants for primary and higher studies between the two sides and strengthening cooperation in the field of scientific research and holding seminars, lectures and joint international scientific conferences.
