Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq al-Hashimi, dean of the college of dentistry at the University of Baghdad was recently elected as the chairman of the committee of deans of dental faculties during an expanded meeting hosted by the college in the presence of deans of dental colleges in Iraq. The voting process was undertaken via the Zoom platform by the rest of the committee members who unanimously elected him to improve and maintain the bright image of the dental profession in the country and to keep pace with scientific progress in the field of higher education and scientific research as well as to adopt the requirements of academic accreditation in an attempt to upgrading the educational process at the present.
