Prof. Dr. Saleh Mohammed Awadh, a specialist in geochemistry and materials from the department of earth science at the college of science won the Distinguished Researcher Award 2021 dedicated by Al-Ayen University in Dhi Qar for his outstanding scientific achievements and 17 published researches cited in Scopus Elsevier’s abstract and citation database & Springer journals, where he has an impact factor of 12 and a Researchgate Coefficient = 33.95. It is noteworthy that Al-Ayen University Award for Iraqi Distinguished Academic Researchers was established in Iraq for listing the names of some creative faculty members in Iraq in the field of scientific research, based on very precise criteria to gain the honorable position.
